The back seat problem

You already know what the back seat looks like.

Wet dog, half a beach in his coat, and he shakes it out the second the door shuts.

Sand works into the seam of the seat and stays there until you vacuum it twice. Hair sticks to the fabric and will not brush off. There are claw marks down the door card from where he braces on the corners, and those do not come out at all.

None of it is a disaster. It is just the same job every Sunday afternoon, forever, and it slowly wrecks the interior of a car you are still paying off.

Cover the seat properly once and most of it stops being your problem.

What it actually does

Four things that matter

No gimmicks. This is the whole list.

  • Waterproof quilted top

Wet fur and dripping paws sit on the surface instead of soaking into the bench.

  • 38cm side flaps

The flaps hang down over the door cards, where claws usually do the damage.

  • Zip seat-belt openings

Unzip where you need a belt. People can still buckle in without pulling the Swag out.

  • Comes off to shake out

Headrest straps unclip. Take it out, give it a shake, put it back.

The range

Four products. That is the whole shop.

We would rather sell four things we can describe accurately than four hundred we cannot.

Free shipping on every order, whatever you buy.

Before you buy

137cm wide. Measure your bench first.

This is the thing that goes wrong with car covers, so here it is before you have to ask. We are not going to list forty makes and models we have not personally checked. The tape measure is more honest than a fit chart.

  1. Open a back door and grab a tape measure.
  2. Measure the bench across, door card to door card.
  3. Put that number in. We will tell you straight.

It hangs off the rear headrests, so you need headrests in the back seat. If yours are fixed low or missing, this is not the cover for you.

Straight answers

The things people ask.

Will it fit my car?

Measure your back bench door card to door card and compare it to 137cm wide by 47cm deep. That is a more reliable answer than any fit chart we could write. It hangs from the rear headrests, so you need those. Use the checker above.

Is the Tie-Down a safety device?

No. Straight answer. The Tie-Down is a movement restraint. It stops your dog wandering across the back seat or climbing into the front while you are driving. It has not been crash-tested and it will not hold a dog in a crash. If you want crash protection, buy a certified harness from someone who can show you the test data. We cannot, so we will not imply it.

How long does delivery take?

Three to five business days. Orders are packed in NSW and sent tracked with Australia Post. You get the tracking number the moment it leaves us. Shipping is free on every order with no minimum spend.

What if it does not fit?

Send it back within 60 days and we pay the return postage. That covers the car being the wrong shape and it covers measuring badly. Get in touch and we will sort the return.

Can the kids still sit in the back?

Not while it is set up as a hammock, because the hammock fills the footwell space between the front and back seats. Undo the front headrest straps and it lies flat as a normal bench cover, and then yes. It takes about a minute to change over, and seat belts come through the zip openings.

How do I clean it?

Shake the loose sand out first, ideally not in the driveway. Wipe the waterproof face with a damp cloth for mud and drool. For hair, run the Muster over it in one direction, pull the ball of hair off, rinse the mitt and use it again. Let the cover dry fully before it goes back in the car.
